    I’ve loaded the Twitter Widget on my site, but the text breaks at any of the @ or # special characters in the Tweet. Here’s the URL so you can see for yourself: http://www.geek2nerd.com. How can this be fixed. Thanks!

    I think it is happening only with native retweets. Can you post a fresh tweet with some #hashtags @mention and ..’s single quote marks and check if the linebreak still happens? I’m trying to replicate this issue. Your help is appreciated.

    I posted a new tweet with a # and it still breaks the same as before.

    The issue might be with the theme you’re using. Your tweets are displaying properly in Graphene Theme. See this screenshot.

    I was having the same problem. It was because my theme had a setting in the stylesheet to display all links as “blocks”, which means they display on their own line.
    geek2nerd has a similar style:

    .sidebox ul li a:link, .sidebox ul li a:visited {
    color: #6f6f6f;
    text-decoration: none;
    padding: 5px 0px 5px 0px;
    display: block;
    }

    You could remove that line ‘display:block;’, or create a new style to override it only in the twitter feed:

    .sidebox .twiget-feed ul li a:link, .sidebox .twiget-feed ul li a:visited {
    display:inline;
    }
